Takah Sushi is a must visit favorite of locals and tourists alike.  It was born with the arrival of Aspen as a skiing mecca, but consider this premier purveyor of Japanese cuisine a legend in its own right. Takah has a lively bar and lounge, a sushi bar, and a cozy dining room. For a very special and intimate evening there is also a small, private dining area available.

Recent dishes include macadamia encrusted halibut, miso grilled salmon in sake broth, crispy Chinese duck sizzling with Szechuan pepper-salt, plum sauce and pancakes, and a whole tempura red snapper on a bed of Japanese rice with sauteed vegetables. As a complement, Takah features an extensive wine list and flights of sake from the best premium sake list in Aspen.
